Observation of Shavuot Holiday – Important Move-In Information
- Freeman has committed to having Shavout companies’ freight placed in their booths by 1:00 PM of Sunday, 6/1 (including ballroom and private ballroom exhibitors.)
- Reminder that Shavout exhibitors will need to ensure that all of their freight is shipped in advance to the Freeman warehouse – if the exhibitor ships it directly to show site, Freeman can no longer uphold this commitment since they have no oversight or control over other trucking/carriers, and would not know when it was arriving, if it was delayed, etc. Shipping address/labels and delivery deadline will be announced in 2025.
- Once the exhibitor’s freight is in their booth, it is between the custom booth exhibitor and their EAC to figure out the build timeline (if it is a Salon, or a Freeman built-custom, there is no commitment to have it fully built by EOD Sunday, however all booths will be fully built by EOD Tuesday, 6/3.)
- The Show Floor will be accessible for exhibitors who observe Shavuot on Tuesday, June 3 from 8:00 AM – 11:00 PM. Freeman is committed to providing additional support on the night of Tuesday, 6/3 to help expedite last-minute orders or corrections for the Turnkey Salon Shavuot exhibitors; at this time, the Freeman Service Desk will also remain open. The Show Floor will re-open to exhibitors on Wednesday, June 4 at 6:00 AM.
- If non-Salon exhibitors (i.e. custom booth exhibitors) are bringing their own lights in and want to oversee installation, that will have to happen on Tuesday night after sundown, and exhibitors will need to coordinate with SES directly for that labor (Freeman will have labor for Freeman-rented lights/Salon light installation already as part of their commitment to help with these customers working late.)
- Freeman can commit to helping ensure that the builds are to our exhibitors specifications, including helping to oversee that exhibitor light installation goes as expected; exhibitors will need to work with Freeman pre-show to ensure their designs are accurate and that they are communicating their needs so that from Sunday – Tuesday, Freeman knows what to pay special attention to.
- Showcases will not be set on Sunday due to this being the initial building phase of the show, and the showcases are at high risk of glass breakage from forklifts/freight being moved into the ballroom. It is imperative that showcases are NOT on the show floor at this time.
