When do I get to select my space for 2019?

If you send in your 2018 and 2019 contracts and deposits by the September 15th, 2017 deadline, you will get to take place in the early “Space Draw” process to select your 2019 location. We are aiming to have that take place before the end of this year (2017). You will receive further information after sending in your contracts and once the date and times are determined for space selection.

How are you deciding the order for choosing space in 2019?

The order for space selection will be based on factors including:

  • Number of years exhibiting in LUXURY
  • Current salon location and size
  • Other LUXURY Shows you have participated in
  • Other Reed Jewelry Group shows and JCK Magazine participation
  • Show sponsorship participation
  • Product type and retailer feedback
What is the $100 JCK Industry Fund fee on my contract for?

Every year Reed Jewelry Group makes a very large donation (over $6 Million since inception) to support great industry causes through the Industry Fund. The industry is in need so the idea is to take this support further than we ever have before by adding to the dollars we donate with small donations from each of you. A small contribution of $100 each multiplied by all of JCK, LUXURY and JIS customers will amplify the good we can all do towards solving our industry’s challenges. You can opt out of participating, but we hope you won’t. 100% of the funds we collect will go directly to important industry causes. See the separate attached flyer for more on the JCK Industry Fund.

Can I opt out of the $100 Industry Fund contribution?

Yes, if you would like to opt out please contact your LUXURY sales representative and they can remove this $100 donation from your invoice. See above for reasons why we hope you won’t opt out of supporting this great cause though.

What if I want a different location/size in 2018?

You should still send back your contracts to secure your spots in 2018 & 2019, but contact your sales representative and let them know what you want and they will do their best to accommodate you once we see what if anything has opened up after we receive all contracts back.

What if I want a different size in 2019?

You must send back your contracts for 2018 & 2019 before the September 15th deadline. Let your sales rep know the size you are interested in for 2019 so we can try and plan accordingly. During the space selection process we will be able to see if that size is available.

When are we moving to the Venetian/Sands?

2019. We have one more year at Mandalay and then we move to the Venetian/Sands in 2019 (which is also LUXURY’s 20th Anniversary).

What if I want LUXURY to remain a 6 day show again in 2019?

We will be asking this question following the 2018 show, so make sure to fill out your 2018 post show survey with this information.

What if I wanted a 7 day show in 2018?

We tried but unfortunately we could not get the dates with the venue to allow for this. We hope the price reduction will offset your disappoint in this and please make sure to fill out your 2018 post show survey to let us know you want to stick with a 7 day show in 2019.

What if I want to sign for 2018 now and not 2019?

You can elect to not sign your 2019 contract at this time. In that case we would allow those who do commit to take place in the early space selection process and you can pick a space after that if/when you decide to join us for 2019.

Why is my 2018 deposit only 20% and not the typical 25%?

We reduced the deposit amount due for 2018 to make it easier for you to give the 10% needed to secure your spot in 2019 at the same time.

Why do I need to give a deposit now for 2019?

The advantage of signing and sending the 10% deposit now is the opportunity to get early location selection during our space draw process. You can elect to wait but then we would allow those who do commit to take place in the early space selection process and you can see what is available after that when you are ready to give the deposit for 2019.
